Dr. Aimee is a graduate of the NZ College of Chiropractic and has been living and working in the North-West area of Auckland all her life.
In practice Dr. Aimee loves the range and diversity of people and cases she works with. Dr. Aimee especially enjoys supporting women through their pregnancy and postpartum journey as well as working with children and babies. In fact it was her passion for helping children have the best start to life that inspired her to become a Chiropractor.
Dr. Aimee uses a range of techniques and tailors each persons care dependant on factors such as their age, presenting conditions and patient personal preferences. These techniques include;
Paediatric and pregnancy specific techniques: often involves very gentle specific touch points and stretches to unwind tension patterns.
Sacro-Occipital technique: Cranial and dural releases to improve cerebral spinal flow as well as using pelvic blocks or wedges, techniques that address specific muscle or organ dysfunction.
Activator: the use of a gentle Chiropractic tool that delivers a specific high velocity low amplitude impulse.
Drop table: using parts of the specialised Chiropractic table to do a small drop away while pressure is applied to guide joints gently back into alignment during the movement.
Manual Adjusting: when the Chiropractor adjusts a joint through applying a specific impulse by hand, often producing an audible “click” or “pop” sound
There are many techniques in Chiropractic and each Chiropractor will have their own style for what techniques they choose to use in practice. Patients also often have preferences for what they enjoy or what their body responds best to so always let your Chiropractor know if you have any preferences.
Dr. Aimee is available for appointments Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays

Her life-long love for nature and adventure has been a constant companion throughout her journey.
